• Observed a preschool classroom for ages 3-5 and assisted with their daily activities. 

• Observed three classrooms consisting of seventh graders who were learning math, English, and social studies, and assisted in a Special Ed classroom.

• Observed a high school English classroom.

• Recognized the learning styles of all different age ranges and learned new teaching techniques to provide a better understanding of the basics of teaching.   

• This confirmed my interest in pursuing a career as a teacher.

• Taught valuable literacy skills to a 3-year-old student with Down's Syndrome one-on-one

• Engaged students by reading aloud and singing songs involving different letters from the alphabet

• Encouraged reading skills into playtime
